Tenmat hot gas filters – the healthy alternative to Clear Edge

Tenmat’s filters are not made of refractory ceramic fibers (RCF) but of Alkaline Earth Silicate (AES) fibers, which are bio-soluble. Therefore SiteConcept can deliver filter rods that are good for the environment and for human health.

LOW EMISSION LEVELS

With Tenmat´s filter, the particle emission level is only 1mg/m3. This low level is extremely difficult to achieve with other technologies and is actually lower than current legislation allow.

FIRE RESISTANT SEALS

Tenmats filters are supplied with vacuum-formed fireproof seals created from bio-soluble fibres. Clear Edge filters come with ceramic paper seals that are not designed to be used as sealing material.

UNBEATABLE DURABILITY

The non-flammable Tenmat filters have an incredible resistance to thermal shock. They can be used with a wide range of common reagents and sorbents to collect furans, dioxins, heavy metals and acids.

Tenmat filters can handle a temperature of up to 1000 degrees.

NON CARCINOGENIC

The healthy and safe alternative to Clear Edge is Tenmat. The filters differ in that Tenmat´s filters are made of Alkaline Silicate fiber which is bio-soluble and harmless to handle. Clear Edges filters, on the other hand, are made of refractory ceramic fiber, which is a health risk and a carcinogenic material.
