Relocation of pilot plant from Berlin to Sweden
SiteConcept built SaltX’s first energy storage facility at Vattenfall’s Reuter West powerplant during late 2018 and early 2019. The pilot plant was in operation for a short period after commissioning, but during that time showed excellent characteristics. SiteConcept is now the owner of the entire facility and will now dismantled and move the equipment from Berlin. Half of the equipment was never assembled and is therefore new, while the rest of the equipment only has a few operating hours. As the equipment is well suited for pyrolysis and production of biochar, this may be the next step for SiteConcept.
