Reduced Emissions with Flue Gas Cleaning and Dust Removal Using Ceramic Filters

Dust removal is a crucial aspect of environmental protection and industrial process management, aiming to eliminate particles and pollutants from air or gas streams. Traditional dust removal methods have been effective, but the development of catalytic cleaning has opened up new opportunities for more efficient and environmentally friendly solutions.

By integrating catalysts into dust removal units, chemical reactions can be used to convert harmful pollutants into less harmful substances or even into harmless substances like water vapor and carbon dioxide. This technology represents a significant improvement in air quality and reduces emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere. By combining dust removal with catalytic cleaning, industrial facilities can effectively meet stricter environmental regulations while reducing their impact on the environment.

Design, production, and delivery of flue gas cleaning systems for Rise Research

SiteConcept has had the privilege of designing, manufacturing, and delivering a hot gas filter for another pilot project. This time to Rise Research and one of their development projects involving pyrolysis and gasification. In addition to our filter technology, we also supply a complete PLC control that enables the filter to function “standalone”. The delivery will take place during the shift between November/December.

Tenmat development project in Hungary

SiteConcept works intensively together with Tenmat limited and KTH with the development of tar-cracking filters. During the late autumn, tests will be carried out in Hungary together with an intended client. The goal is to purify the syngas from the pyrolysis of garbage to drive a gas engine to generate electricity.
